Production Technician - Gauzy Film

About The Position

We are looking for a Production Technician - Gauzy Film to join our team in Florida. As the Production Technician – Gauzy Film, you will be responsible for manufacturing advanced LCG (Light Control Glass) film products used across multiple Gauzy applications, including aerospace, automotive, architectural, and specialty markets. This role requires precision technical skills in CNC machining, XY table operation, manual cutting, electrical assembly, soldering, and quality control to ensure products meet strict performance and safety standards.

Located in Melbourne FL. 32901

Full-time 40 hours per week with overtime available. Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, AFLAC, and PTO.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC, XY table, and manual cutting equipment according to production files and instructions.
  • Assemble and bond electrodes with precision and accuracy.
  • Perform soldering for electrical connections following established standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with all established job safety practices, policies, and procedures within the production area.
  • Perform tasks as required to ensure adherence to production quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records in line with AS9100/ISO requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and waste reduction opportunities.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient production environment
  • Other various duties as needed or assigned


Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to operate CNC, XY table, and manual cutting equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Skilled in soldering and handling delicate electrical components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and skilled in using hand tools and machinery.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
