Key Account Manager for aircraft interiors
About The Position
Vision-Systems is a global company, manufacturing products for aircraft interiors, owned by Gauzy Ltd, a world-leading vendor of material science and nanotechnology.
We are looking for a Key Account Manager in the Florida area to lead business-to-business product support and sales development within the transportation industry (Aeronautics, Special Machines, Marine, Railways).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for business-to-business product sales within the transportation industry.
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully coordinating the activity of the sales team and providing technical and methodological support.
- Responsible for the entire sales cycle including negotiation.
- Responsible for defining complex, customized solutions with some of the largest manufacturers and operators in the US.
- Define prospection plan, track, consolidate proposal, and convert Leads to Sales with the support of the organization.
- Active participation in Sales strategy for North America jointly with Vision Systems.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships, and conduct follow-up with customers by partnering with them to understand and meet their needs.
- Long-term customer relationship management, serial life, and customer loyalty focus.
- Responsible from leads identification to contract signing on customized and innovative solutions with some of the largest manufacturers, completion centers, and operators in the US.
- Analyzes service activity data, resolves issues, and proposes areas for improvement to maintain and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Analyzes and documents key performance indicators, past sales, and revenue generation, presents data and realistic sales forecasts to management.
- Researches emerging technologies and products, up channels potentially marketable products to management for evaluation, and closely monitors the status of the competition.
***Travel throughout the US and internationally. Training in Europe.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or other related discipline preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales/Business Development
- Experience in selling products (not services) and/or manufacturing
- Experience selling custom complex products to OEMs - a plus
- Experience in aeronautics or public transport - a plus
