About The Position

Gauzy Ltd. is looking for a Controller to join our Finance department.

The main goal is to take a leading role in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with US-GAAP and SEC rules and to contribute in maintaining the accounting and financial processes of the company up to standard to ensure accurate financial reporting.


Financial Reporting and Accounting:

  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with US-GAAP, well documented working papers and other reports at demand.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly period end closure including assets and liabilities update to period end and P&L - such as cash and cash equivalents, inventories, fixed assets, AR/AP balances, accrued expenses, revenues reconciliation, bonus accruals, payroll accruals etc.
  • Take a substantial role in communication with external auditor and advisors.
  • Support many aspects of accounting and bookkeeping management (review of journal entries, invoices, payments, monthly and quarterly closure, billing, tax return, financial reporting etc.).
  • Take part in the implementation and documentation of internal controls, new processes and policies in compliance with SOX regulations and company policies. 


  • 3 years of experience in corporate finance departments as Controller or other similar position
  • B.A. in Accounting
  • CPA license
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and financial processes (financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of US-GAAP - advantage
  • Experience with public Company filing - advantage
  • Language: Fluent in English & Hebrew both written and spoken
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (mainly excel) and SAP software (advantage)
  • Availability to work long hours if required
  • Well-organized with a great eye for details, ability to prioritize
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively, problem-solving ability
